Fredericton Resilience Fund

The Fergusson Foundation is happy to partner with the Fredericton Community Foundation on the Fredericton Resilience Fund.

The Fredericton Resilience Fund was created in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. This fund will help local people in the capital region and is in partnership with the Fredericton Community Foundation (through Canadahelps.org) who will receive funds and issue tax receipts and the Fergusson Foundation who will disburse the funds. The goal is to raise $ 200,000 through local donors. We will in turn grant between $300-$500 to local people who have been adversely affected by the pandemic. Individuals and small businesses within the service industry (restaurants, hair care, elder care, cleaning etc..) are the groups we want to help. There is a simple application which can be sent to you by forwarding an email to

We are looking for 1000 people in the capital region to donate $100 to the Fund and the Sara Burns Police Memorial Fund will match those donations up to $100,000 for a total of $200,000. We then will disperse the funds to those who have applied and qualify.
